Family owned kelterei (cidrery) in Hessen is making several kinds of apfelweins (German-style ciders) each made just form one kind of apples. According to apfelwein tradition the aim is to get as close to wine as possible. These apfelweins have more alcohol content than standard cider and are almost still. For InCider Bar we chose two versions from the Premium line:
Braeburn dry cider from Braeburn apples.
Coxorange very sweet cider from Coxorange. The taste is close to Muscat wine.
